I eat frozen pizza maybe once or twice a month. I usually stick to Jack’s, sometimes I’ll try something from DiGiorno. Strangly enough, I have never tried Freschetta pizzas until last week. It’s always great to try before you buy. I had the opportunity to do so when Freschetta sent me some coupons to try their new FlatBread pizzas. With those coupons, I purchased both Roasted Garlic and Spinach and Zesty Italian flavors and kept them all to myself.
The Roasted Garlic and Spinach pizzas are topped with roasted garlic, spinach, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses with creamy garlic sauce. The Zesty Italian pizzas are topped with pepperoni, sausage, Genoa salami, mozzarella and asiago cheeses, with a zesty red sauce. I really enjoyed both flavors. The sauce on the Zesty Italian was very good. It had a mild and sweet taste. It was a step away from the tangy sauce that I’m used to. Both pizzas were topped with a rich and creamy cheese that was delicious. And the garlic flavor on the Roasted Garlic and Spinach was perfect; not too strong, not too bland. The crispy crust? Loved it.
Here’s a photo of some of my Roasted Garlic and Spinach pizza sharing plate space with Farm Rich mozzerella sticks, which I received coupons for as well. I was in cheesy heaven.
Freschetta FlatBread pizzas are made with just the right amount of only all-natural cheeses and a sauce made from real, ripe tomatoes. They are topped with colorful vegetables and generously sliced meats. Freschetta Flatbread is a perfect balance of big flavors all on a crispy crust for a unique taste that’s on the lighter side of pizza.
