For The Love Of Doggies And Happy Kiddos

For The Love Of Doggies And Happy Kiddos Sophistishe Digital Mom

Jayden loves his doggies. It all started when his grandmother bought him a few VTech and Fisher-Price toys. I gave him a coloring book full of puppies and now everytime he sees a dog, he exclaims, “Doggie!” He also really enjoys playing with her dogs. So the question lies, will we get a dog? Not anytime soon since we can’t have pets. And frankly, I’m so over taking care of animals. Those of you who’ve known me pre-mamahood know how much of a Sheena Doolittle I was. So until we move into a pet friendly place, Jayden will continue collecting dogs and copping free feels at her house, lol.

Jayden’s newest addition to his doggie collection is Chase the Happy Dog. Chase was sent to us from Happy Blankie, a company founded by 9 year old David Holdridge who had a remarkable idea. He wanted to make kids all over the world smile. He thought if kids were happy, their mommies and daddies would be happy too. His mother, Emily, encouraged him to bring his idea to life and attached a core philosophy to the business, One to Love One to Give. What this means is each time a blanket from Happy Blankie is purchased, a blanket is then given to a child in need all over the world. Blankets serve as a sense of security, so these super soft blankets help children in need whether they are in transitional homes or hospitals get through those difficult times.

Happy Blankie

Happy Blankie blankets are made of luxurious plush “minky” fabric and silky charmeuse satin. Cheek-to-cheek smiles are embroidered, plush noses are embossed with ribbon, and the backs are covered in satin. Happy Blankie blankets are available in sizes small, medium, and large. Personalization is also available in with 13 thread colors and two fonts.

Customers can choose exactly where they would like to give their second blanket and Happy Blankie will send emails that will keep customers informed of future giving dates and destinations. Both Happy Blankie and their customers are changing the world, two blankies at a time. What a remarkable gift that keeps on giving.

happy blankie Happy Blankie was founded by 9 year old, David Holdridge who had a remarkable idea. His mother, Emily, encouraged him to bring his idea to life – and then added a life lesson that we can ALL teach our children – share. Her idea was to share the happiness of Happy Blankie with children in need of a smile. Thus, ONE to Love, ONE to Share, became the core philosophy of Happy Blankie. The concept is based on Emily’s message to David (and her other 3 children) – love one another, share with others and make a difference in the world.

oooh too cute!! Willie would love the dog or the frog. When he sees a dog he will tell you for days “dog, dog, dog, dog, dog….” and when he sees a frog he says “bibbit! bibbit!!!” too funny!

Jay does the same thing and he says things in such a concerned voice. Eventually, we have to tell him ENOUGH, lol.
