That's really smart to only take a carry on. 2 pair of shoes is a great idea. Sometimes we complicate stuff a bit much with all our accessories. Enjoy Blogher!

I get the cheek breakouts too. My left cheek gets the hives the worst and then the other pimples up. I have a love hate relationship with my skin. It's time we wash our linens. I want to get some satin pillow cases and see if that helps.

Yep, BlogHer is in August. I wanted to go to the Disney SMM conference, but too much was going on with us at the time. Maybe next year.

It seems that I always have something open this time of the year hovering over my shoulders. I've been pretty good at not adding too much on my plate though. It's just this one thing that's taking longer than expected.

I attended BlogHer '09. It was convenient because it was right here in Chicago. I usually pack for 1-2 day trips the day before. Since this is a longer trip, I have much more to pack. I need to start thinking about it now. I also don't want to be up all night because I have quite a few engagements I've committed to the day I arrive in NY. I'm hoping to have a blast. I'm going with a new blogging and networking perspective than last year.

Changing my blog is free, so unlike redecorating every room in our house over and over, it's what gives me my fix without going broke. I used to fear for being thrown under the bus by some disgruntled person of the media or some judgmental blogger with a stick up their you know what, but now I don't care. Back to the basics being me, doing things my way. I'm honest, so it doesn't matter. Working on those priorities…

We've honestly been slacking. Trying to tackle them…almost there :).

I can't believe you would want to redesign your already perfect blog. You know how many of us drool over how nice it is? I guess as women we can't ever be happy with things as is, we must change things around every so often. I also don't care for the end of post disclaimers. I do it if the sponsor requires it. I have often wondered if there is someone from the disclaimer police looking for who they can bust for not following protocol. Okay, this is supposed to be your ramble so I will stop now. On another note, I hope you find Jay a great Pediatrician you will be happy with. Also remember that you can not always do it all. Give yourself some credit and tackle whatever is priority in your life. Have a great weekend Sheena :)
