Now that I’m home from BlogHer, it’s time for me to get my butt into gear. I have quite a few themed reviews to post and possibly a campaign or two. I don’t like my greens to touch my cornbread and I don’t like my reviews and campaigns to touch either, however I am not one to slip in fly by in between posts just to separate the two. Sooo there may be more sponsored content than usual and no I don’t believe in creating a separate blog for that – it just doesn’t make any sense. I mean, if I did that, would you want to hop to yet another URL to read it? I didn’t think so.
Anyway, I’m asking that you bear with me and not turn your noses up as I get that sponsored content posted. As usual, all experiences/reviews will be written with honesty from my point of view. I do care about my readers which is why I’m writing this post. Let’s remember that this is my blog too and this hobby also supports my family and sometimes my sanity, lol. I feel kinda silly for even writing this…justifying what I’ve turned into a semi-career…but you get my drift, right?
On a side note, I’ve edited some unseen photos of Jayden at 9 months. Here’s one of them. The entire set can be viewed here.
February 2009 – I miss the husky days.

I read and value each and every comment and I visit those who comment... even if I don't comment back. I'm working on it, I swear! Stuff you should know *ehehm*: So... sometimes companies send me items of interest in exchange for a feature on my blog. Some also compensate me for my time and efforts creating content to promote them. Yay! I always disclose if I have a relationship with a company. If I don't disclose a relationship with a company and I link to them, then the link is most likely an affiliate link. I use a plugin that automatically does this for me. Cool huh? Just want to make sure you are aware :). Read my full disclosure policy

Enjoyed your blog and pictures of your beautiful son.

Aww, thank you :).
Wow. It's been so long since I've been around, and commented here. Everything is looking great, Sheena. :)
Hopefully next year, I'll get around to going to BlogHer. I didn't even hear about it, until I noticed you and Jenn talking about it on Twitter, so I had no time to plan it. Would be great to meet you!

Thank you :). It would be great to meet ya. Don't stress if you don't make it, maybe we can just have a simple meetup somewhere – would be less expensive. I'm glad to see you're still hanging around teh interwebz. Many of my buddies from way back when have disappeared.
It took me until yesterday to unpack my suitcase! I had a huge pile of packages waiting when I got home. Even though I have MomReviews, I have companies that request Table for Five for their sponsored content, and I hate that I feel "guilty" about posting it. it's MY BLOG! Nobody has to read anything they don't like! hmmph.
That photo of Jayden is too precious!
Jayden was really pretty. Don't take that the wrong way. But he was a very cute little boy and if you dressed him in all white, it could leave one to wonder, girl or boy. He's a handsome little dude now.

Oh no, I totally get what you're saying and thank you!
I love little chubby babies! They are just too precious. Kelsie still has her baby face, for the most part but since she is turning 5 soon it will all be over with soon. And this momma is sad.
I totally get the sponsored and reviews being here…I closed up my blog that was just for reviews and such and started posting on my personal blog…I just feel like that the blog is me and why not post all of me on it, whether it's a review or not. Those that aren't interested can simply skip over it.

Exactly, I write my reviews in a way that makes them personal so that's why they belong here and not on another site. If I were going for the magazine style coverage, then maybe.
Kelsie still has those fluffy baby cheeks, love the picture of her in all red!
