In August, I announced my involvement with Ralph Lauren and Mom Central as a Ralph Lauren Mombassador. I attended an event where I learned more about the brand and its founder and I continue learning more as this partnership unfolds.
Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I want to talk a bit about Ralph Lauren’s Pink Pony Fund. The fund has been around for ten years and has supported programs for early diagnosis, education, and research while helping underprivileged communities secure quality cancer care. Ten percent of proceeds from Pink Pony products go to the Pink Pony Fund. To mark the 10th Anniversary of the Pink Pony Fund, Ralph Lauren has partnered with chairtybuzz to auction over 200 unique items and experiences from now through October 21st. Up for bids are art, luxury travel, and chances to meet celebrities such as Lebron James, with 100% of the proceeds going to cancer care and prevention.
Now bidding hundreds and thousands of dollars on celebrities and luxury items may seem a little far-fetched to the average person, but there are some items with little to no bids. Alternatively, you can text PINKPONY to 501501 to donate $10 to the Pink Pony Fund through the month of October. Every donation, big or small, helps support this great cause.
I am a participant in a Mom Central Consulting campaign for Ralph Lauren and have received various Ralph Lauren products as part of my participation as a Ralph Lauren Mombassador.
