Walmart’s Black Friday 2010 Deals & Specials

walmart black friday

It’s been four years since Greg and I did any Black Friday shopping. It’s loads of fun even without snagging those doorbuster deals. This year, we’re going to rekindle old times and take advantage of Walmart’s “Open House” event. During this event, they’ll be selling toys, home items, and apparel at their special prices starting at 12am instead of 5am. This will be great for those who aren’t really looking to camp out for those 5am doorbusters. I imagine things will be a liiiittle less hectic during that time. This will be great for Greg and I since we have a few things to grab for Jayden and quite a bit for local charities.

As usual, all electronics will go on sale at 5am. Select stores will even be hosting demos and handing out samples of different baked goods and snacks. They are also continuing with their store maps.

I hear ya! We went to Walmart at midnight. All the computers were taped up. People were posted. They didn’t go on sale til 5am, so imagine being in the store that long! We only needed some toys to donate to charity, so we were in and out! That was the end of our Black Fridayness, lol.

  • lol I’m not quite competitive enough to ever be able to get to the good electronics deals before they run out of what I want LOL! I learned last year that I will never do it again. Walmart gets all my money anyway but I think I’ll stick to regular prices and not jeopardize my life on Black Friday. haha!!! That being said, those were some really great deals, especially the laptop for $198! I actually thought that was a mini… I’m kinda mad I chose not to get one now that I know it was full sized! Oops!
