Holiday Decor On A Budget

I absolutely love decorating for Christmas; I can never have too many Christmas decorations. So when Walmart offered me a $50 gift card to do a little holiday decor shopping, I said, “Why, certainly!”

Mommy and Daddy’s Lil’ Helper

For under $42, I was able to add these lovelies below to my home.

Norfolk Potted Pine Tree

Last year, I planned on getting a real Christmas tree. To make sure I did so, I gave away our old artificial tree. Well, we ended up with another artificial tree, lol. To get my real tree fix, I purchased this super cute potted pine for $5. It smells good (up close)!

Specialty Ornaments

I tend to gravitate towards prim and rustic decorations so I grabbed 6 ornaments that would compliment the prim decor we already had. Each ornament was $2 each.

50 CT Shatter-proof Ornaments

Some day, I wish to adorn our tree with unique, handpicked ornaments, but to fill in the gaps, I chose to purchase the Shatter-proof Ornaments for $15. I can use these ornaments creatively in bowls, baskets, and various DIY projects in the future.

Lighted Snowman

I love the convenience of sticking prelit decor in our windows. I totally suck at stringing lights around the window, so this Lighted Snowman for $5 was a perfect addition to our living room window.

Assorted Wrapping Paper

Wrapping paper certainly adds flair to any holiday decor. We only needed less than one roll of wrapping paper to wrap Jayden’s presents, but it’s always fun having presents wrapped in different paper under the tree.

I can’t wait until the post-holiday sales; I’m going to grab a few other pieces I had my eyes on! How do you decorate for the holidays on a budget? Share!

I am a part of the Walmart Moms program. Walmart has compensated me for the time dedicated to participating in and sharing this shopping experience with you. Participation is voluntary. As always, all opinions are my own.

You always have budget friendly ideas. We spent $20 on ornaments from Target this year. And I bought cute red sparkling reindeer ornaments and mini gold trees from Walgreems for $6. Other than that we didn't decorate much but hopefully we will next year once I can find my garland and other decorations I have packed away somewhere.

Yesss! I can see them now! I love the one of Jayden "pushing" the cart! Oh, and that $5 Snowman is coming home with us, since the girls have been begging for us to do something holiday-ish with the house!
