Salsa is one of those snacks that I cannot get enough of! Best of all, I feel no guilt because it’s all veggies! I had the opportunity to sample Salsa Sensations salsa and I’m in love. Salsa Sensations salsas are made fresh, so must be kept refrigerated. Salsa Sensations is more of a pureed kind of salsa (not chunky) and onion-y, which I love. The salsas are available in mild, medium, and hot flavors. Mild has the perfect amount of zest. Since I can knock out a whole container of salsa in one sitting, I opt for the less spicy flavors. Salsa Sensations salsas are available exclusively at Walmart (in the refrigerated dairy section) for only $1.98. Can’t beat that!

Contest Details

Salsa Sensations is searching for creative and healthy after-school snack recipes using Salsa Sensations brand salsa. Salsa Sensations invites anyone to submit healthy, delicious recipe ideas to win a $1,000 Wal-Mart gift card!

There are two options to submit an entry:

• Create one video (at least 30 seconds in length) demonstrating your creative after-school snack using Salsa Sensations.
• Submit at least three original photos showing how to make your creative after-school snack using Salsa Sensations.

Each video or photo entry must also contain a written recipe or snack idea using Salsa Sensations.

How to Enter

• Fill out the Contest Entry Form located on the Salsa Sensations website.
• Create one video (at least 30 seconds in length) demonstrating your creative after-school snack using Salsa Sensations and upload your video to YouTube and share your video link on the Salsa Sensations’ Facebook Fan page -OR- Submit at least three original photos showing how to make your creative after-school snack using Salsa Sensations and upload your photos to the Salsa Sensations’ Facebook Fan Page.
• Entry (video or photos) must contain Salsa Sensations brand salsa in mild, medium or hot. For a full list of a Wal-Mart location near you that carries Salsa Sensations, click here.
• Include a written recipe or snack idea using Salsa Sensations when submitting the Contest Entry Form.
• Entry deadline: 11:59 pm MST on Monday, February 21, 2011.
• At least three Finalists will be announced on Wednesday, February 23, 2011.
• Finalist’s entries will be open to a public vote, hosted on the Salsa Sensations’ blog, from Thursday, February 24, 2011 to Thursday, March 3, 2011. The Finalist’s entry with the most votes on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 11:59 PM MST will win! Winner will be announced on Friday, March 4, 2011.

How Finalists & Winner Will Be Chosen

The Finalists will be chosen based on video or photo and recipe creativity and brand relevancy as well as use of Salsa Sensations brand salsa in video or photos. Winner will be chosen based on a public vote!
