You guys probably know by now that I swoon over well-kempt teeth and oral hygiene is very important me. But over the years dental visits and strict regimes have been put on the back burner for both Greg and I. We try to prioritize, but dental care always makes its way up under the rug, but we are making a conscious effort to try to do better. I am a huge fan of doing things myself because paying for cosmetic services each and every time they are needed are simply not in the budget and I don’t have the patience to schedule.sit.and.wait. somewhere other than my home.
I had the opportunity to try a new teeth whitening product by Luster, but since I am pregnant, I couldn’t use it. Bummer! I was SUPER excited about it though and shared the wealth with Greg who needed to whiten his teeth. The Luster Premium White system is is guaranteed to whiten teeth in just an hour, which we’ve proven to be true. It’s very easy to use, albeit a bit tedious, but it works! There are tree components to the teeth whitening process: Rinse with the Accelerator Mouth Rinse, Brush with the Super Whitener Gel, Apply the Activating Whitening Light (it beeps when done) Repeat steps 1-3 as-needed up to 20 times to achieve desired whitening results.
Greg completed steps 1-3 a total of 10 times and he plans on doing another set of 10 this week for a total of 20 (the max). Here are his results… the photos really don’t do the product justice.
Oh and as far as sensitivity, he experienced a tingling sensation on his lips and gums, but that is understandable seeing how the whitener gel contains peroxide. Overall we are pleased with Luster’s Premium White. It’s a handy kit that gives instant results at a great price point ($31 at Walmart). Once baby comes, I will be whipping out my Luster system, but until then I will be using good ol’ baking soda and the Power White7 Toothpaste Luster just sent me to try to achieve a brighter smile.
I am a member of the Walmart Moms program. Walmart is compensating me for sharing our experience with Luster Premium White. My participation is voluntary and all words and opinions are always my own. Read my full disclosure policy here.
