It was a windy day and I wore a dress that was prone to taking off with the wind. I suppose I should have worn leggings or shorts underneath. At least one person got a glimpse of my pantied backside. Lesson learned.
Although we arrived unprepared… thanks to the website that posted incorrect driving directions and prohibited food, tents, and umbrellas (and plenty of people brought all of those things *humph*)… we had a good time on our two blankets.
There were times where the planes would sneak up on us, and boy was the sound stunning like, “OMG which way do I run, the plane is gonna get us, only I can’t because I’m like Mario in close proximity to a giant Sledge Bro.” Jayden had to bury his head in the blanket a couple of times.
It was a good time, though, and for some reason I got a sense of… belonging? Like we had finally gotten accumulated with our surroundings after almost 3 years. Putting down some roots here may not be so bad after all.
