If you pay attention to the beauty ads, BB cream is hot right now. BB cream, also referred to as beauty balm, is an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock. Many cosmetic brands are offering their own BB cream product and Maybelline is one of them. I was able to try Maybelline’s Dream Fresh BB Cream and I’m impressed with the results.
Maybelline Dream Fresh
• Blurs imperfections
• Evens skin tone
• Protects with SPF 30
• 0% oils and heavy ingredients
The photo above was taken on November 15th. I was still a little puffy from birthing a baybuh, but this photo is just to get an idea of what my skin looks like without makeup or tint of any kind. I applied the Medium/Deep Sheer Tint, blending with my fingertips. The result was a natural, light, dewy look. I applied a little eye shadow and blush on top as well as some lip color. My E.L.F. tinted moisturizer may have some competition with this one as I got a little more coverage and moisture which I can benefit from during the Winter. I did have a minor issue… Dream Fresh irritated (tingled/itched a bit) the skin around my eyes (not the lids). It’s probably due to the SPF, certain kinds irritate my face.
I am a huge fan of makeup products that are easy to apply and give natural looking results and Dream Fresh BB Cream did not disappoint. I’ll just have to watch out around my eyes.
P.S. Both photos of me were taken while not being fully rested, hence the closed eyes and sleepy look. Ignore.
