Degunking Our Carpet With Bissell’s Deep Clean Premier

Housewares are my absolute weakness. If it makes my life easier, then I must have it! Anything that helps me save money gets bonus points too! Carpet cleaners are among my favorite housewares. Living with kiddos and hubby, spills and dirt tracking are bound to happen. Having two small children who both lounge on the floor and a security deposit we wish to receive in full makes it oh-so-important to keep our carpet fresh and clean. Having a carpet cleaner at my disposal allows me to clean up right away. I haven’t the time or moolah to pay for a service to come in and make things all awkward whenever we need our carpet cleaned.

I am currently trying Bissell’s Deep Clean Premier, new to Walmart stores. It’s a straight forward carpet cleaner that gets the job done. It doesn’t have tons of bells and whistles, but it does have a few neat features. The Deep Clean Premier has a large capacity 1.25-gallon 2-in-1 tank which means fewer trips to the sink. To make those trips easier, the tank features a handle for easy transporting. The Deep Clean Premier uses a  HeatWave Technology to provide constant heat to permanently remove spots, stains and spills. When cleaning our living room rug, I could feel that technology in action. I could feel the warmth from the machine on my feet and legs. It’s kind of soothing. 🙂

The Deep Clean Premier features 10 rows of dual powerbrushes that excel at getting the gunk out of carpet. Our living room rug appeared to be fairly clean, albeit a tad dingy. The Deep Clean Premier proved otherwise.  Just look at the nastiness it scrubbed out of our rug… yeesh! I honestly don’t know whether to be embarrassed or excited, lol.

One thing that I did notice is that the machine doesn’t have an option to rinse the carpet after washing. That’s a feature I would appreciate as it would ensure that no extra detergent builds up into the carpet. I could, however, just go over the carpet with a fresh tank of water without adding any detergent. Not a huge deal.  I see many more cleaning dates with the Deep Clean Premier in the future. My mom is moving, so we’ll definitely need it as it’s easy to use and cleans exceptionally well.
