Lunchables have always been a favorite of mine growing up. I remember having so much fun stacking lunch meat, cheese and crackers and assembling mini pizzas. Between park outings, days at the pool, museum-hopping and general days spent away from home, I don’t mind grabbing the deliciously fun and convenient lunches for the boys. Lunchables are a great choice for a well-rounded lunch on-the-go. And with so many varieties to choose from, there’s sure to be a perfect choice for every child. For road trips and in-between-meal snacks, the Lunchables brand offers Lunchables Jr., a line of yummy grab & go snacks that are sure to fill tummies and keep kids happy. Lunchables Jr. snacks are available in the following flavor combos:
Ants on a Log: honey graham sticks, Sun-Maid raisins, and peanut butter. Dip honey graham sticks into peanut butter and top with raisins to entice your little bug-lovers.
Blueberry Bonanza: Mini Nilla Wafers, Cheez-It Baked Snack Crackers, and blueberry-flavored apple pieces. Stack up and enjoy!
Teddy Bear Picnic: Teddy Grahams Honey Graham Snacks, dried apple pieces, and peanut butter. Assemble “sandwiches” or dip Teddy Grahams and apple pieces individually in peanut butter.
Very Beary Crunch: Teddy Grahams Honey Graham Snacks, Ritz Bitz Cheese Cracker Sandwiches, and strawberry-flavored diced apple pieces. Combine honey, cracker sandwiches, and apple pieces for a sweet & salty crunch treat!
We received a big ol’ box of Lunchables Jr. snacks to enjoy this summer. I shared the wealth with my friend, Jenn, and they’ve been a hit in both of our households. Jayden was so excited to try them. You’d think we never feed him from his reaction. “Oh my god, I love these, I love these!”, is what he exclaimed after I handed him a pack. When he was finished, he ran in our room and said, “I love Mommy when she gives me new food.”, and proceeded to give me a hug. Hahaha.
Jenn’s kiddos got creative and gave the Teddy Grahams skirts and wigs by dipping them in peanut butter and then into the dried fruit snacks. Her daughter loved the cheese-filled Ritz Bitz Cheese Crackers. Very Beary Crunch seems to be a favorite among both sets of kiddos, including me ;-).
Lunchables Jr. are geared towards children who are 3+, but are great for the older crowd who want a little something extra on-the-go. You can find Lunchables Jr. in the infant/toddler food aisle at Walmart for $1.98. There is a $0.75 cent coupon floating around on coupons.com. It seems to come and go, so be sure to keep checking!
