Cancer. It sucks and it’s growing rampant. There’s no denying that the ferocious beast is being fueled by additives and modifications made to the foods we consume. Food is simply not what it used to be. Everything is being mass produced for convenience at our health’s expense. Eating clean, putting emphasis on nutrient rich foods is a step in the right direction towards prevention. There are several nutrient rich foods that have been proven to help prevent certain types of Cancer if consumed regularly. Here are seven top Cancer-Fighting Superfoods.

For 100 years, the American Cancer Society has led the fight against cancer finding cures, giving support, and saving lives. Sixty years ago, 1 out of 3 people diagnosed with cancer survived at least 5 years. Today, thanks to the American Cancer Society, 2 out of 3 will survive, but they won’t stop until it’s 3 out of 3. The American Cancer Society has been part of nearly every major cancer breakthrough in recent history, and have 46 Nobel Laureates to show for it. But there’s still more work to be done as hundreds of research studies went unfunded while 577,000 Americans died of cancer this year. Cancer thrives on silence and complacency and only action will finish the fight.
