Restoring My Health With Vitaselect

IMG_8228

There’s no easy way to say this, but I’m guilty on multiple accounts of self neglect. Adulthood is challenging enough. Throw in a couple of kids, one who is nursing, wifedom, a home business, life and you have a recipe for some self care slip ups. I’ve felt the effects on my worn body for quite some time, but I’ve ignored the countless attempts of my body trying to get my attention.

It wasn’t until an episode of colds, sinus infections, and a stomach bug that took us all down this winter, that I heard my body loud and clear. I had enough and set forth on a journey of healing, like for real this time. Spring is a great time for new starts and I can’t wait to use this season to flourish.

Since I am on a health kick, I decided to try out Walmart’s new Vitaselect tool on Walmart.com. Vitaselect is a quick survey for personalized vitamin recommendations based on the information provided regarding current health and lifestyle. The Vitaselect survey recommended a probiotic and multivitamin. Since I’m still nursing, I opted for a prenatal vitamin since it’s more nutrient rich. I just started taking magnesium oil topically so the probiotic helps with the itch/burning sensation that I’ve experienced when applying. I will be be sharing more on health and wellness as I experiment with things.

If you are looking to improve your health and feel your best this spring, check out Vitaselect and use it as a starting point.
