Beautiful Mornings

morning

Mornings at home (when I’m not sleeping in) are beautiful. Jayden hops out of bed and comes to greet us in our room. “Good Morning” is usually followed by “I want to see the baby.” Before Jaxon was born, Jayden would give us morning kisses, now he gives them all to Jax! We all spend a few minutes snuggling, or “marinating” as I like to call, it in the bed, lol. If I am feeling like Super Mom, I’ll head down to the kitchen, turn on the radio, and whip up a pancake breakfast. Those are the mornings I love the most and I’m trying to see that we have more of them.

Tell me about your beautiful mornings.

Our 15-month old will say “hi” when she’s ready to get out of her crib. We try to snuggle her in between us in bed for a few minutes before we get ready for work/daycare. That’s our favorite time. She’s lovey, cuddly and not bossing her father. :)

My beautiful morning consists of waking my kids up (I love their sleepy faces) and making a delish breakfast for them.

My beautiful mornings consist of waking up next to my 6 month old (as of December 3rd) bundle of joy. I kiss him every morning and say “Morning Ethan, I love you.” I change his diaper, while smelling his feet and scrunching up my nose telling him “Ethan has stinky feet”; which keeps him smiling. Afterwards, we snuggle and I nurse him while we stare into each others eyes. I love my mornings because to me they are truly beautiful, I couldn’t ask for better mornings than these!
