Yesterday, I treated myself to some new nail polish from Walgreens. SinfulColors were on sale fore 99 cents (until 2/18/12)! It felt good to grab a handful and line them up on the counter. My nails were freshly painted, confirming my obsession.

Nails to the Yeah! is back as a monthly link up! Every month I will be offering prizes to participants as a thank you and as a way to encourage participants to pamper themselves every once and a while! So without further ado, let’s share our nails! Here are mine as of today featuring an easy tutorial of how I did them :). 1. Paint your nails nude. Use as many coats it takes for full coverage. Let dry. 2. Paint a pink isosceles-like (lol) triangle on your nails. The lower left of the nail will be the starting point. ...

For Halloween, I wanted to create a grungy look to match my Sorceress costume. I got to playing in my nail polish and the photo above is what I ended up with. I loved the result, so I thought I’d share how I did it! You need one bottle of silver, black, and silver crackle polish. First, paint your nails silver. Use as many coats as it takes to get full coverage. Two did it for me. Once the silver dries, paint about 1/3 of your nails black. It doesn’t have to be neat. This is a grunge look. It ...

Zoya Charla (aff) & Wet N Wild Party of Five Glitters Some of my toes are doing a weird lean. I had to bend down, put one foot in, place one hand next to my foot, and take the photo with the other hand – and shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey and… yea, lol. Sorry this edition of Nails to the Yeah! is late, I promise to do better! Special thanks to Stacie and The Accessory Lady for participating in the last NTTY linkup! Show me your nails!

Nails to the Yeah!: A Mani Pedi Meme

As a mother (aka busy woman on-the-go), I know how hard it is sometimes to stay on top of a beauty routine. I mean I don’t sweat the small stuff. My hair is pretty low maintenance and I’m pretty lax when it comes to re-twisting. I’ll often go every other wash without doing so. But I’ve been trying to make an extra effort to try something new whether it’s a new headband, headwrap, or hat. Whenever I leave the house, I try to put a little foundation on, just to appear as if I care, because I do. And I ...

I’ve been ordering health and beauty products from Walmart for quite some time now. I usually place an order when I can’t find certain St. Ives products at my local Walmart and I tend to order in multiple quantities. It makes sense since we tend to run out of these products fast, especially lotion and face wash. I default to Walmart.com because their prices are usually low and shipping’s not terribly bad. To make shopping Walmart.com even better, Walmart announced their Home Free shipping service that provides free shipping to home on all apparel and consumables orders over $45. Tens ...
