When Jayden was a baby, he went bald. All that was left were bangs and I stressed out about his lack of hair all.of.the.time. “When is it gonna grow back? My baby is bald. Oh noes.”
Eventually, it grew back. And it’s been cut a few times in-between.
Jaxon (aka Juicy) was born with more hair than Jayden and I managed to keep it illustrious for quite some time. Early on, he started rubbing out the left side with his hand and over time, he developed some bald patches from the everyday life as a baybuh.
The right side of his head stayed lush although that’s the side that he lays on. He even had a cute little mullet growing. But his hair had gotten so uneven although you couldn’t tell once brushed down.
It got to the point where he was sporting serious bedhead with patches, so I was brushing his hair nonstop so he wouldn’t look cray.
My, how things change.
Today, at almost 5 months, Jaxon got his first haircut.
It was a simple task and he didn’t seem to care. He’s chill like that. Daddy did the cutting and I was on bobble control.
It’s hair. It grows back… healthier and stronger.
In light of Spring, let’s take a moment to do some pruning shall we? So often we let the past dictate our present, hindering the growth of our future. What elements in your life can you take a pair shears to? Have at it and be fruitful!
