Key Lime Pi Froyo Breakfast Treats

Key Lime Pi Froyo Breakfast Treats - Happy Pi Day!

This post is sponsored by Yoplait®. Thanks for supporting our site partners!

I’m trying to get back into the habit of making special treats for the kids. And by special, I mean taking something simple and putting a twist on it. The boys both love yogurt and they’ve been asking for popsicles, so I thought I’d make them a frozen treat. With Pi Day here, I thought I’d order some Pi shaped molds and put my own spin on frozen yogurt cups. To keep up with the Pi theme, I just had to use Yoplait’s Key Lime Pie yogurt. There’s a funny meme going around that says, “I’m sad when my food is over.” It echoes my sentiments for this yogurt. I’d dive into the cup just to get the very last bit if I could! Tell me I’m not alone.

It’s always a plus when food brands that I enjoy offer healthier options. Yoplait® Original is now made with 25% less sugar which I am totally here for, given my sweet spot for Key Lime Pie and little boys who raid the fridge late at night.

To create these scrumptious geeky treats, all you need is a fun Pi mold, some Yoplait® Original Key Lime Pie Yogurt, General Mills Oatmeal Crisp cereal, and unsweetened shredded coconut. Simple, right?

In a small bowl, crumble up some of the cereal and toss out some shredded coconut. This crumble combo pairs well with Yoplait’s Key Lime Pie flavor. What a great way to one up any cup of yogurt!

Spoon the yogurt into each of the mold cavities. Make sure the yogurt is smoothed over the molds.

Take the crumbled cereal mixture and gently press it into the yogurt. Place the mold in the freezer for an hour.
