Over the past few months, we’ve made a few changes in our living room like painting, moving around a few things, and replacing our slipcovers. We’ve also replaced our old Mohawk rug with a brighter one and what a difference it has made! I’m a little somber since I’ve worked so hard to create a unique and homey feel since we will soon be moving (more on that later), but I know our new digs will be even better.
Anywho. Mohawk let me pick out a rug of my choice and I decided to go with the 5×8 Linen Cyclone Rug. It matches our throw pillows and new slipcovers perfectly and spruces everything up. Oh and it’s plush, so it’s nice to walk on too!
The Cyclone is such a pretty rug. I absolutely love it and Greg even approves. He’s usually blah when it comes to decor, but he really likes it. Since we now have a new rug in the living room, we’re using the other rug into the playroom. I had plans of putting a children’s rug down, but this way I’m not being wasteful using what we already have. The old rug completes the room and makes it look unique, not like your typical playroom.
