Red Lobster Maine Stays Under $15

Red Lobster is one of our favorite restaurants to dine at, but as I mentioned before, we tend to limit our dinning out as doing so is more of a splurge. Red Lobster has, however, introduced a new selection of 15 budget friendly meals that make dining out more affordable. These new entrées, referred to as the Maine Stays are offered under $15… every day. The Maine Stays menu offers everything from seafood to chicken, like Tilapia with Roasted Vegetables and Wood-Grilled Chicken with Portobello Wine Sauce.

Blue Cheese Sirloin
A 7-oz. peppercorn-seasoned sirloin is cooked over our wood-fire grill and topped with a creamy blue cheese sauce. Served over mashed potatoes with choice of accompaniment.

Tilapia with Lemon Garlic Butter (1/2 Portion)
A half portion of Today’s Fresh tilapia can be prepared on our wood-fire grill, oven-broiled or blackened. Served with lemon garlic butter.

Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp
Our shrimp are delicately wrapped in bacon, glazed with peach-bourbon BBQ sauce and topped with pico de gallo. Served over mashed potatoes with your choice of accompaniment.

I had the opportunity to try a Maine Stays meal and I ordered the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp because it just sounded like all sorts of yummy. I ordered to go (it’s much easier these days), so of course my meal didn’t look as pretty as it would have arranged on a plate, but it tasted just as good! I LOVE shrimp and bacon… married together, they just werk. The peach-bourbon BBQ sauce was a delicious addition. It was less like BBQ
sauce and more like a sweet glaze.

I enjoyed my meal. ‘Twas a nice treat for my birthday (Dec. 3). With the new menu in effect, maybe we’ll visit Red Lobster more often.

Have you tried the new Maine Stays menu? Share your fav entrée :-).
