My Maybelline Silver Diva Runway Makeup Look

001_1 One of the things on my life list is to improve my eye makeup techniques. I am a bare faced diva by nature, but I do like adding a natural foundation for a more polished look and a little color to dress up my beady brown eyes. Just a little makeup goes a long way and when I wear it, I look more like a woman and less like a child. Someday I’m sure I’ll want to have that childhood glow back, but now I’m trying to get my grown and sexy on *puckers mouth and bats eyelashes*.

Earlier this month, Maybelline sent me a kit inspired by Scene on the Runway, a collection designed and used by makeup artist Charlotte Willer backstage during fashion shows. Scene on the Runway, consists of four looks, each created for a Maybelline New York spokes model. Each of the four collections (Rosy Dew, Silver Diva, Golden Midnight, and Ruby Kissed Emerald) are available for under $25 at Walmart!

In the kit, Maybelline provided me with the basics to re-create the Silver Diva look. This is an elegant sensual look, the eyes are played up, focusing on lining the lower lash line.

Silver Diva includes the following four products:

Volum’ Express Falsies Flared Washable in Blackest Black
Unstoppable Eyeliner in Pewter
Superstay 24 Color in So Pearly Pink
Expertwear Eyeshadow Quads in Mocha Motion

I did use the following from my personal collection to complement the look:

Covergirl TRUblend in Soft Honey
Maybelline Mineral Bronzer in Glistening Sunset
Hard Candy Eye Def Glittering Eyeshadow in Ditch

How’d I do?

I like it. Alot.

I’m going to ride this look on out until I can figure out how to do something else!
