Your Exersaucer days are over, buddy.
Still A Baby In My Eyes
You’re growing tall and that scrumptious face of yours keeps maturing.
Belly. Knobby knees. Curled legs.
Last year’s swim diaper still fits, but for how long?
What are we going to do?
O Bonsai Tree
I received this gorgeous Gardenia Bonsai tree courtesy of ProFlowers.com. I was able to choose from quite a selection of bonsai trees and although it was a tough decision, I narrowed my choice down to this beauty because it is very easy to care for despite its exotic appearance. It will thrive happily in any indoor environment as long as its a sunny and humid location.
Our kitchen is an ideal location. It gets plenty of sunlight, but I’m not sure if it wins in the humidity department. To be on the safe side, I’m going to pick up a humidity tray for added moisture and some time-released fertilizer as the included care instructions suggests. The care instructions for bonsai trees also suggests only watering the tree once every three days, misting occasionally, and repotting every four to five years! Easy peasy!
I was impressed at how well my Gardenia was packaged and wrapped. Took me quite some time to get my precious tree out of the box and packaging, but not one inch of the tree was damaged and not an ounce of soil spilled. I was surprised at how stunning the ceramic pot was in person. I mean the pictures on the ProFlowers site do it no justice. I’m looking forward to many years with my prettyful Bonsai tree and the sweet smells of Gardenia when the flowers bloom.

Good For Somethin’ Point And Shoot
Last night before bed, I grabbed my point and shoot off the dresser and started tinkering around. Truth is, I avoid it like the plague because I’m a DSLR girl. Not only did I dare to take pictures with it, I used the flash. That built-in source of artificial light. Only ’cause I didn’t wanna toss the little man out of my lap to run downstairs to retrieve my DSLR.
I guess the ‘ol point and shoot is good for somethin’
