This post is sponsored by Lunchbox and Big Heart Pet Brands, but all opinions are my own.

Halloween is near! Will you be having any doggy friends over to trick-or-treat or party? Well, have I got a quick and easy way to make your canine friends feel extra special this Halloween! All you need are a few packs of your favorite doggy treats, some brown paper bags, and the free festive printable that I’ve designed below.

Dog biscuits and sticks are a perfect choice for these Halloween treat bags. At Walmart, I picked up some Milk-Bone Granola Biscuits as a healthy treat and Pup-Peroni Stix for indulgence. The Cuatro Canine Crew are going to love these.

Printing On Paper Lunch Bags

The easiest way to print on a paper lunch bag is to make sure that you tape down any loose flaps and openings. If using the printable below, open it up in a program such as Photoshop or Word, and set the page size to 5×10. How you load the lunch bag in depends on your printer. If you load your paper on the top of the printer, the bag must be inserted upside down (opening pointing down) with the front of the bag facing you. If you have a bottom loading printer, the bag will go in right side up (opening pointing up) with the front of the bag laying flat on the paper tray.

I’m going to keep it real with y’all… I Photoshopped my design on to the photos in this post because my printer ran out of cyan ink and refused to print in black. I had my brown paper bag loaded in and instead of grabbing the bag, my printer grabbed a 5×7 sheet of photo paper and printed on to that… using up the very last drop of cyan ink left. When I tried again, I was met with error pop-ups and my printer’s refusal to print. No stores in town sell these darn ink cartridges, so I always have to order them. So what did I do? I ordered a pack of 18 cyan, light cyan, yellow, magenta, and black cartridges, put a laser printer on my wishlist (for drama-free printing in black), and proceed to shoot and Photoshop the photos for the sake of time and sanity. Bloggin’ ain’t easy, yo.
