I love collecting decor items and trinkets inspired by cultures around the world. And NOVICA is one of my favorite places to shop for those lovelies handcrafted by artisans worldwide. NOVICA puts jobs in the hands of hardworking artisans by offering their gifts online, facilitating artisan loans, and providing rewards to their buyers. So when I shop NOVICA, it feels great knowing that I am helping support others many of whom are providing for their families.
I was able to chose an item from NOVICA and I chose the gorgeous Sun of the Sierra ceramic mask. It hangs in our playroom along with a sun mobile I purchased from NOVICA over a year ago. I just love the mask’s bright colors. Looking at it makes me happy and reminds me of the few hours Greg and I got to spend in Mexico (during a cruise).
The sun’s warm rays illuminate the Mexican sierra as neighbors leave their homes bound for the fields. Pedro and Maria hand-paint the scene on a ceramic mask shaped like the sun, long revered in Mexico. This is a unique work of art, thus colors and motifs may vary slightly from those pictured.
Each NOVICA purchase is gift wrapped and includes an artisan story card. It’s a nice gesture that shows how much your purchase is appreciated. Seriously folks, after you buy one item at NOVICA, you’ll become hooked. I spend so much time just browsing because it’s so hard to chose just one or two items. Must buy all the things!
Shop NOVICA for handmade lovelies such as womens accessories from Mexico and men’s clothing from Peru. And receive 5% cash back when using ShopAtHome! Had to throw that in there as I’m a ShopAtHome STAN :-).
NOVICA wants to give a Sophistishe reader a $50 gift certificate! To enter, use the Rafflecopter widget below. Comments won’t count as entries!
