She {hearts} It

March 8, 2011 · Blogging · 1 comment

My friend Drea (we’ve known each other for about 4yrs!) and I have teamed up to launch a new blog called She {hearts} It! It will be review driven, but will also feature crafts, recipes, and topics on organic living and homescooling. We strive to feature unique products that make you say, “Ooo” from eco-friendly laptop messenger bags to vintage tea kettles! We look forward to partnering with small/family owned businesses first and foremost, but we also welcome the big guys too. So come check us out! I’m talking about baked jerk chicken and Drea’s giving away Pure Anada skincare! ... CONTINUE READING THIS POST →

ikea finds

Following our lunch at Wendy’s, we took a trip to IKEA! It was my first time in an IKEA…EVAR. I was totally inspired. I got some ideas for our office and Jayden’s room. I found some pieces to serve as nightstands in our bedroom. The Aneboda drawer chest is a contender. I’d probably sand it and paint it a darker color. We had lunch at Chili’s (2 for $20 meals!) and made stops at Marshalls and Goodwill. ... CONTINUE READING THIS POST →

July 2008 3 Months

When Greg and I have a break from parenthood, we catch up on work and chores around the house. We talk about our future; a lot. This weekend we made plans to go to a comedy show in December; just the two of us. We stayed up ’til insane hours of the morn laughing our – > asses < – off. We started new phone plans that are ridiculously affordable. We’ll now have matching phones :). We’re trying to find a stand alone swing for the backyard, so we can swing together; just like the old folks do. Perhaps watch ... CONTINUE READING THIS POST →

We’re still cosleeping and it’s great when we aren’t trampled in the process. We have the toddler bed right next to ours. They are both now about the same height which makes it easy for Jayden to make his way into our bed. We did this for convenience, but our plans for good have started to foil. The boy tears through both beds. Maybe using the word trampled was a bit of an exaggeration, but I don’t understand how someone so little could do so much damage while sleeping. One night, he literally just threw his body right on over ... CONTINUE READING THIS POST →
