BHG Stainless Steel Cookware

On Thanksgiving, it’s great taking home leftovers when we visit with family, but in our house, there’s no way those leftovers would last for as long as we’d like them to. So, I always do my own cooking, making a few extra dishes we really enjoy. With the help of my new Better Homes and Gardens Stainless Steel Cookware Set, I did my Thanksgiving cooking last Sunday in perfect housewife style and froze it all up for when we returned home from visiting with family.

I’ve never cooked with stainless steel cookware before and I heard there was somewhat of a learning curve to avoid sticking. These babies conduct such good heat, allowing me to cook at much lower temperatures. When I took my new cookware out of the box, I was shocked at the weight of each pot and pan. They are so thick and durable!

I love that I can put my stainless steel cookware in the oven up to 350 degrees! Since my pie pans were enroute, I baked my pumpkin pies and yam casserole in sauce pans. They came out wonderfully!

I love the glass lids on this set. They have steel handles that appear to be very durable. I’ve had a few handles loosen and come off the lids of previous cookware I’ve used. I don’t think I’ll be having that problem with these. They clean up well, too. I like to handwash them right after using to preserve their quality. They are dishwasher safe too, but I haven’t put them in yet.

I absolutely love the versatility of this cookware set. This is truly a professional set at a great price ($149 exclusively at Walmart)! One of my goals has been not only to cook more, but to cook more fulfilling and new dishes. This cookware set is a huge motivator for me to do so! Better Homes and Gardens have really outdone themselves!
