DIY All Purpose Cleaner With Essential Oils

diyallpurposecleaner

Don’t you hate when you run out of your favorite cleaning product? I know I do! Luckily, many effective cleaning solutions can be made out of items we have on hand. I grew up on vinegar, water, and baking soda cleaner. To this day, it’s my favorite go-to cleaner, especially for cleaning toys and surfaces that the kids frequently handle and hang around. As a family who deals with allergies and sensitivities, this DIY All Purpose Cleaner gets the job done without the harsh irritants.

For aromatic and additional disinfecting properties, I like to add a few drops of essential oils to my solution. Walmart recently started carrying Nature’s Bounty essential oils, which are perfect for household cleaning solutions and home fragrance.

Materials

1 spray bottle
1 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp of baking soda
10 drops of grapefruit essential oil
10 drops of lavender essential oil

Nature’s Bounty essential oil products are available in a variety of fragrances including lavender, peppermint, and grapefruit. They also make a sweet almond skincare oil, perfect for moisturizing those hands after cleaning. You can find Nature’s Bounty 100% oils in Walmart stores or at Walmart.com.
