Last Friday, we found out the gender of Tiny Human #3. We’ve shared with family and I am currently conjuring up an online reveal. It’s the least I can do after dragging my feet with blogging the pregnancy announcement. I did post on Instagram, though! Life happens, yo. So remember our gender reveal for Jaxon? We ran out to the local candy shop for blue gummy bears and I painted my nails to match for a fun grayscale to blue gender reveal.
Couples are getting increasingly creative with pregnancy and gender announcements… especially on social media! Have y’all seen the Best kept secret ever video? What a swerve! This is something that Greg and I have totally considered. The reactions from the couple’s family and friends are so hilarious and priceless! This couple pretended not to know baby’s gender for the ultimate post-delivery surprise.
Before our third pregnancy, I was adamant on not finding out baby’s gender. I wanted the extra excitement from the surprise. Greg, on the other hand NEEDED to know, so I compromised. After having two boys, we agreed that life would be so much easier knowing whether we’d be be pulling out the hand me downs or shopping for pastels, frills, and dainty things.
With all of our children we found out the gender around 20 weeks, but I recently learned that you can actually find out as early as 9 weeks gestation. Ain’t that something? Through technologies like, Panorama, expecting parents can get an accurate peek at baby and receive gender results and genetic screening all in one. Panorama includes an ultrasound and a non-invasive DNA screening test that can give parents accurate information about their pregnancy and peace of mind.
If you are looking to get an early look at baby’s development and gender, you can find a location where Panorama screenings are offered.
Have you ever had an early gender pregnancy screening? Did you have a gender reveal?
